“EIKA” enterprise group sells 112 new apartments in 2010 2013.03.03

More than half of the apartments have been sold in a dwelling-house project “Santariškių namai”, which has been acknowledged to be the best in Lithuania in 2009. More than 61 percent of “Eika” apartment buyers purchased an apartment using a bank loan.

In 2010 economy-class apartments amounted 18 percent of the apartments sold, middle-class apartments – 59 percent, while the rest 23 percent went to a prestigious class. “Previously we used to mostly sell economy-class apartments, however in 2010 we sold more middle-class apartments. Changes in sales were mostly influenced by supply in Pilaitė, which decreased by 52 percent,” says the Development Manager Domas Dargis.

During the year 2010 “Eika” apartment buyers’ alternative opportunities diminished by 67 percent, because the supply decreased down to 70 newly-built apartments. This year the supply will be complemented by more than 100 new apartments in Pilaitė and more than 60 new apartments in Santariškės. Around 25 percent of these apartments have already been sold by preliminary contracts. More than 24 million litas will be invested in these projects.
